Banks collapsing... Jobs shipped overseas... University graduates on the same unemployment lines as fry cook stoners...
No... no one ever imagined it would get this bad.
Yet here's something you're gonna find funny.
Not funny, “ha ha” but funny “strange.”
The way things are in the world right now... is exactly the way I just assumed it always was for everyone.
You see... I'm 16. I've only even thought about things like economies... job forecasts... and stuff like that for the last couple years.
And let's face it. Over the last few years, those things have pretty much sucked for everyone.
And before that...
When things were pretty good for most of you...
Things still pretty much sucked where I come from.
But I'm getting ahead of myself here. I'll tell you my story in a minute, but first let's talk about you.
How are things for you, these days?
Do you have a job? A way to get by. Something to do so you can make enough cash to barely cover that minimum payment on your credit card each month?
Or... do you have a dream? A dream of living the good life?
Most people I run into used to have that dream but gave up on it a long time ago.
